Scheduling a meeting with colleagues is usually easy enough these days when everyone is using the same calendar system, such as Outlook. But what if you have to schedule a meeting with others outside of your calendar network?
Doodle to the rescue!
Doodle is a great free web tool for planning your next meeting. It allows you to create a schedule of possible meeting times and send it to the potential participants so they can manually enter in their availability. It reminds me of polling sites. Participants are essentially voting for the times they prefer.
You will need to sign in to create your schedule times, but registration is free (they appear to live off of google ads.)
At some point in the future, we will all be able to connect our calendars and skip this step, but til that day, Doodle is the way.
